A whole server, and nobody else on it

Who this is for

Portals with sustained heavy traffic, applications that need serious database work, businesses with data they must keep on identifiable hardware, and anyone whose service has grown to the point where performance has to be predictable rather than usually fine. If you are not sure whether you are there, you probably are not — a VPS is the cheaper step, and we will say so.

Specified to the workload

• Processor, memory and storage chosen for what will actually run — an application server and a database server are not the same machine.
• SSD or NVMe storage, in RAID, so a single disk failure is not an outage.
• Full root access, your operating system, your stack.
• Bandwidth and IP addresses sized to the service, not to a plan.

Run properly, or handed over

We can manage the server — operating system updates, firewall, monitoring, backups verified by restoring them, and a person who answers when it matters — or we can hand it to you configured and get out of the way. Both are fine. What we will not do is sell you a managed plan and leave the patching undone.

Getting a quote

Dedicated servers are quoted, not listed, because the hardware is chosen per customer and the price follows the specification. Tell us what you are running now, where it hurts, and what you expect over the next year.
