What the website is for, who it is for, and what it should do. A site you like the look of helps a lot. A new build needs at least 200 characters — enough to actually scope it.
Because a one-line brief cannot be built from. Two hundred characters is roughly three sentences — what the business does, who it serves, and what the site must achieve.
Yes, from your order page, right up until a developer starts building from it. After that, open a ticket and we will make the change with them.
Open your order and press "Add page content". Each page has its own editor for the words, and its own upload for photographs.
Yes. Every page has its own photo upload, so a shop-front picture stays with the Home page and product shots stay with Products.
Up to 16 MB per file. They are sent one at a time with a progress bar, so a big batch never fails as a whole.
For page photos: JPG, PNG, GIF and WebP. For project files: PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, text, CSV, ZIP and images.
Yes — use Project files on your order page. That is the place for a spec, a logo pack, an old brochure or anything else that helps us build it.
Almost always the file is over 16 MB, or it is not a real image. The uploader tells you which file failed and why, right next to it.
Yes. Each file and photo has a Remove control while the project is still open.
It helps us start. Your order page shows how many pages still have nothing on them, and your developer is waiting on exactly those.
Tell us what you want on each page and we will shape it. If you would rather we wrote it from scratch, open a ticket and ask about copywriting.
