Software Developer

About the role

As Team Leader for our developer pod, you'll be the person projects are ultimately accountable to. You'll split incoming orders across the team, keep an eye on code quality and delivery timelines, and step in personally when a project needs a senior hand — while also growing the junior and trainee developers under you.

What you'll do

• Assign incoming orders across the developer team based on skill and load
• Review code and enforce our Laravel coding standards before deploy
• Set and track delivery timelines, flagging risk early to management
• Unblock developers on tricky technical or client-scoping issues
• Mentor junior and trainee developers through code review and pairing
• Coordinate with sales and support on project scope, quotes and handoffs

What we're looking for

• 3+ years of professional web development experience
• Strong hands-on experience with Laravel and MySQL
• Prior experience mentoring or leading a small team of developers
• Ability to review code, catch issues early, and set technical direction
• Comfortable coordinating with sales/support teams on project scope and timelines
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills under deadline pressure
